One decision – That’s all it takes

Do you set small, manageable goals so that you have a very high likelihood of achieving them?

Or do you set huge goals that you’ve got very little chance of achieving without superhuman effort?

You might think that by setting moderate, reachable goals, you’ll actually achieve them. That you’re setting yourself up for success. That you’d be more motivated because what you want seems easy to do.

And you would be wrong.

Are your goals big enough?

Do you set small, manageable goals so that you have a very high likelihood of achieving them?

You might think that by setting moderate, reachable goals, you’ll actually achieve them. That you’re setting yourself up for success. That you’d be more motivated because what you want seems easy to do.

Confronting Adversity

Adversity – noun (ad·ver·si·ti)

– adverse or unfavourable fortune or fate
– a condition marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress
– an adverse or unfortunate event or circumstance

OK, so I think it’s fair to say that nobody likes adversity.

In fact, many people believe it is the ultimate enemy and avoid difficult situations at all costs.

If they find an obstacle in their path, they run in the opposite direction and choose the path with the least resistance. Their dream is to live in a perfect world where nothing can harm them or make them feel pain.
